INDISPRON® TEC offers in INDISPRON® D 110 a complete product and service package for industrial-scale application.
The special feature of INDISPRON® D 110 is its efficient control of insects and parasites with a "Ready-to-use" formulation. The mode of action is based essentially on a physical effect, which means that undesirable build-up of parasite resistance can be ruled out with a high degree of certainty. The high chemical purity of the active ingredient, a synthetic amorphous silica, is another feature of this formulation.
Silicas are known to have a drying effect on certain parasites and insects. By special aftertreatment of synthetic amorphous silicas, this drying effect can be reinforced and very accurately fine tuned for each application.
For industrial egg and poultry production, Evonik Degussa has selected one of the most effective silicas from its existing product range and supplies this as a liquid and non-dusting dispersion.
Compared with pest control agents in powder form, INDISPRON® D 110 offers considerable advantages in handling, dosing, adhesion to surfaces, and, particularly, occupational safety, because it does not dust. Another decisive advantage is that it provides safer food from farm to table: the lower the level of pesticide contamination in food, for example, the better for consumers’ health. |
